Portraits from Beyond a Pandemic

When one door closes, another door opens. May we remember our connection in the distance. We are in this together.

During this unprecedented time, I’ve been photographing some of my neighbors and the local community in front of their homes to document and share this moment in history as we stay at home during the “shelter-in-place” orders.

This was my first photo in the project (more following, below): 

Please note: This project has been done while staying in the current state of California approved guidelines for social distancing.

The good news is I’ve had 20+ families donate to the Santa Barbara Food Bank and Cottage Hospital Medical Supply in participation of this project!

I’m also currently compiling a book filled with these intriguing portraits, stories, and poems that document this moment in history and will make this available soon.
